Q- How can I be sure the artwork I am purchasing is authentic?
A- We stand behind all of our art. We go to great measures to ensure authenticity. Generally speaking, we purchase art only from the artists themselves or from a very few select sources that we know well and who have also generally obtained art directly from the artists. We have owned and worked with the material we sell for many years, and are able to identify non-authentic works. If we question something - we don’t buy it. If we discover something in our collection that we question - it is removed and filed for reference.
Q- What is your return policy?
A- You may return an item(s) for a full refund within 7 days of receipt. Please note that the item must be received by RAMP Gallery within the 7 days allowed. Item(s) must be in the same condition as when shipped by RAMP Gallery. Initial shipping cost(s) are non-refundable, as is return shipping.
Q- I noticed that your listing incorrectly credits the artist on a particular piece.
A- The collection of art featured on the site is extensive, and occasionally we make an incorrect assumption as to the artist. Many of the artists producing works during certain time periods had similar styles - and even worked in the same studio - so we do make mistakes now and then. If you see an error in a listing, please let us know and we will verify and correct immediately.
Q- When will my order ship?
A- We ship three times each week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday (except holidays). Therefore your package will ship the first shipping day after your order is placed. If your order is placed on a shipping day, it will ship the same day if the order is placed by 11:00 AM PST. Orders placed after 11:00 AM PST will ship the following shipping day.
Q- How will my order ship?
A- Orders will normally ship USPS ground/priority. We may ship using FedEx or UPS at our discretion. We will ship either flat or using a sturdy tube. We recommend insurance on orders over $100.00, as Ramp gallery is not responsible for damage caused by the shipping company.
Q- Do you offer expedited shipping?
A- Yes. Expedited shipping will be presented as an option during the checkout phase of your purchase. However, please note that orders placed late in the day that require, for example, overnight shipping, cannot be shipped until the following business day due to shipper cut-off times.
Q- Do you ship overseas?
A-Yes.
Q- If I want to sell a poster(s) similar to what you carry, would you be interested in purchasing?
A- If there is provenance and we are able to authenticate originality, we may be interested.
Q- Do you appraise works or collections of art that fall within the range of what you carry?
A- No.
Q- Do you have a
brick and mortar store?
A- No, we do not.
Q- Will the art I buy from you increase in value?
A- We don’t know. Much of our art has significantly increased in value since its creation. An important consideration with respect to purchasing art is: Buy what you like.
Q- I am looking for a specific show/band/venue and do not see it on your site. Might you have it available, but not showing on your site?
A- Very possible. It is also possible that we might be able to refer you to someone that does have the exact piece you are looking for, or be able to procure for you. If you send us an email detailing the work you are searching for, we will help if we can.
Q- Some of your
photography is not very high in resolution. Why is that?
A- We photographed many pieces at low resolution, and often not perfectly straight-on, to protect the images from being used elsewhere or in an inappropriate manner.
Q- Do you have multiple copies of all the works?
A- No. We have a few copies of some of the works, but in most cases, we have only one copy. Product that is unavailable will be marked as sold, or not for sale, but will remain on the site for viewing purposes.
Q- If something is noted as sold, can you tell me to whom it was sold so that I can contact the person to make an offer?
A- No. Many of our works are sold into private collections. Any information with regard to past, current, or potential buyers will not be disclosed.
Q- How can I contact your gallery?
A- You may contact us via email at: info@rampgallery.com, or by phone at 503.395.4426.
